National Nutrition Month Workshop

Our Nurse Educators spoke with the residents at the Baldwin Senior Center about proper nutrition and exchanged recipes. Empowering seniors through education is what we are all about!

Medication Management Workshop

Our Nurse Educators spoke with the residents at the Baldwin Senior Center about the importance of medication management. They discussed when and how to take certain medications and also distributed medication tracking lists and bags.

Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Workshop

Our Nurse Educators played brain games and spoke about the importance of recognizing the early stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Many shared stories they had about being caretakers to loved ones with Alzheimer’s.

Skincare and Aging Workshop

During this workshop, we discussed skin lesions and what to look for when identifying various skin diseases. Our educators were on hand to discuss how to care for aging skin.

Scams Affecting The Elderly

We hosted our biggest workshop this month with over 41 seniors at the Greene County Senior Center. We discussed common scams affecting older people, such as financial scams, grandparent scams, Medicare scams, and more!

Food Safety and Storage

Our educators reminded seniors to check the expiration dates on items in their pantries to keep them healthy and safe.
